A little about our Collies...
We have 2 very special Rough Collies; a male and a female named Flippy and Lassie. They are our dear yards pets, as well as livestock shepherds. We hope to get a litter of Collies from time to time. Flippy's My Pal
- our male from Cook's Collies, MO -
Flippy has a lovable personality. He is a puppy-at-heart, and loves to play tug-of-war. He's very affectionate, and even gives kisses on command - well, to his favorite people anyway! He will pick up one of his many toys strewn throughout the yard, and look at you with a pleading expression in his dark brown eyes that's hard to resist! He gets so excited when we have visitors on the farm, and can be counted on as the first to greet them in the driveway. His favorite visitors are little people. He follows littles around everywhere, and tries to practice his herding instincts on them!
Flippy has very good conformation for a Rough Collie, with a fairly big build. He is 65 pounds, and still may fill out some as he continues to mature. Flippy's pedigree includes several of the well-bred and well-known Van-M Collies.

Lassie's My Gal
- our female from Golden Oaks Collies, KS -
Miss Lassie has a regal, reserved, and gentle temperament. She holds the expression of smartness in her eyes, and tries her best to understand human language. She has a tender and trainable heart. Lassie wears the air of being responsible for the well-being of the family and really, the whole farm! Even as a puppy, she was calm and 'wise beyond her years'. Flippy is her sweetheart, and she takes good care of him, making sure he is always clean and happy. While she is affectionate and gentle to her people, she's also wary of strangers and eager to let us know when we have visitors. But, she always warms up quickly, and becomes a very favorite here on the farm!
Lassie has a more slight and athletic build, as is common for female Collies. She also weighs around 65 pounds.
