He is doing good. 2 accidents only, so far. We take him him out often. We plan to get him set up outside during the day.. but at night we may crate him in the garage as long as it's cool, if not we will crate him downstairs at night and when we're gone. I think he's really attached on to the girls, lol.

Puppy is pretty happy. Haha. I let him out today for a few hours. He stayed around the house running to each door to be let in. :) Then he opened one of the doors and let himself in, I think. I'm trying to decide if it was open already. ;)

He's doing super! Growing like a weed. Some progress on housebreaking although he's slower than most we have raised, but other than that he's picking up on everything very nicely. Loves his walks, does great on the lead and picked up on retrieve work very quickly and loves it! He is very gentle natured, shares his toys nicely with his new brother dog and is just a sweetheart You must have given him baths raising him because he is SUCH a gentleman about it.
First update 3/20/24
Home safe and sound. He has settled in great, LOVES toys (Thanks for acquainting him with them, as I am sure you have as he understands exactly what they are). He finally had the day catch up with him and fell sound asleep so I figured a good time to introduce him to the crate with him drowsy. That woke him right up, lol, and he was crying, but covering it quieted him right down and he fell back to sleep. He is very offended that our cat announced to him she is the boss and he barked in frustration at a distance, but totally respected her boundaries.

First update 4/16/24
Jimbo – “Mieko” (34 pounds)
The 5-plus hour drive home could not have gone better. Mieko snuggled in between my twins, sleeping
most of the way home. He loves to play with his mountain of toys, with his soccer ball being a favorite
when he’s outside and chasing the cat’s laser pointer inside. He is very chill, until he gets the zoomies
and runs around the yard like a crazy puppy to let off energy. He loves his daily walks with his “pack”
Roman (who tolerates him) and Oakley (a female puppy he enjoys playing with). My coworkers look
forward to his regular appearances on Zoom calls. Mieko enjoys going to my twin daughters’ tennis
practices/matches and will soon be introduced to his groomer! He had two hours of dog training last
weekend and quickly learned sit, stay, off and leave it! Let’s just hope he uses his smarts for good and
not evil! We love him, thank you for letting him join our family!

6/8/24 Update
A little over 5 months now and around 50 pounds. A big love bug! Always finding something to do that involves dirt!
4/15/24 Update
I am in love with him and so is everyone else in my house. He likes his kitty cats and Westies. He’s loving his new family. He knows his name, is learning to sit, understands “no”, house trained. Great on a leash. Still gets sick in the car. Not fond of his crate- we only use it if we’re all going to be gone at the same time. He’s never been crated more than an hour.
He's wonderful! A joy.

The Girls
Mejay - "Millie Mae" (named after her mama and her sister in Huntington Beach California!)
Blue right eye
HOME WITH BRITTANY E. IN SEARCY, ARKANSAS!
Updates on Millie (AKA Mejay) and her sister Midge
4/5/24
Millie Mae- 28lbs and still growing! She is THE sweetest girl! She loves to have cuddle time and hear you sing “Jesus loves me” to her. She is doing excellent with her potty training and crate training. Millie loves to please and gets the biggest smile on her face when you tell her she’s a “good girl”. She is no longer scared of the dumpster, but is very curious about a bunny that has been hanging around the yard.
Both girls are doing wonderful! Each week they grow so much-literally and maturity wise. Just today, Midge rode in the backseat by herself and even laid down instead of insisting on riding in my lap on the way to the vet. Millie is bell trained already and went into her crate on her own today after her vet appointment. Midge is bell trained as well and loves to bat them with her “bear clubs” while Millie hits them so gingerly with her nose. I love them both so much!
3/20/24 update
They both had vet appointments last Friday. Midge weighs 20lbs and Millie weighs 19.8. However they feel soooo much heavier than that! lol Millie is just like her momma from what you have told me-extremely sweet and definitely wants to please you. Midge is a clown with an attitude lol!! Midge loves to have her picture taken and look at herself in the mirror. Millie, on the other hand, does not like her picture taken AT ALL!
Also.. they both have their own “lamb chop” toy and it’s the first thing they grab every morning. Their favorite toy!!! Sheepdog instinct I guess.
THE FIRST DAYS AT HER NEW HOME...
2/22/24
...I'm sooo in love with them and they are learning SO quickly!
You can tell they came from a loving family because they have acclimated to potty training quickly -- already have made the connection between the bell and going outside! Two very different personalities, but both comical and compliment each other well!
2/23/24
Vet appointments went great! Millie weighs 13.6lbs and Midge weighs 14.6lbs.

4/5/24 update
Midge Mally- weighing in just under 30lbs. She has an appetite to match her personality-BIG. She loves to make you laugh! Just this week when I told her “no”, she fell straight backwards, all 4 paws up in the air, and pretended to be dead. I did not teach her this-she came up with this all on her own (although we have been watching Lassie). Midge loves to go in her crate at night and loves her sleep. Highly motivated by cheerios when it comes to training.

Miley - "Gwenny" (Lady Guinevere) King Arthur (old english)
HOME WITH SHANNON & DAVID (AND SCOUT THE GERMAN SHEPHERD) IN STAFFORD, VA!
Updates on Gwenny (AKA Miley)
3/21/24
It's an adorable graduation gift!! I think having a dog like Gwen (so lovable) is a great way to maintain happiness during the stress and loneliness of just starting out. Keeps one grounded -- forcing you to have something other than yourself and money.
3/20/24 Update
She had her second vet visit for shots; they confirmed she is perfect! She is up to 20 pounds, though we are surprised not more than that because she loves to eat. She plays all day-- Scout likes her but is still adjusting to the ankle biting. She loves to bite Scout's tail, but Scout does not enjoy that. Potty training is going slowly. She gets so excited to play and going outside to pee just seems so boring. She has never messed in the house though, she is very private about that. Her coat is starting to grey around her ankles-- so adorable. She sleeps in our mud room-- the kennel just could not work. It is a small room that she likes the quiet in around 11. There is sometimes a pee pee on the mat if we are later than 5. She is either the sweetest dog or the feistiest-- one or the other... she gets so determined-- she will take on Scout for a toy if she really wants it. And then other times, she is as docile and sweet as can be. We call her Jeckyl and Hyde . Everyone loves her-- or in Scout's case-- is working towards it. Haha
THE FIRST DAYS AT HER NEW HOME (FROM SHANNON):
She’s so perfect. And we were so impressed by your entire process. You are an amazing breeder. Thank you so much!
She is confident. Hilarious. I didn’t realize the “hop” when they move. Scout moves so smoothly.
We actually had a few people stop just to ask where we got her and what kind she was. She’s a rock star.
They really are smart.... She’s picking up on a lot. She knows to whine when she feels something happening down there… not putting the “go to door and bark” which won’t happen for a couple more weeks. But at least she’s making the initial connection. She knows the sound of the opening of the container with her food and she knows the ice machine sound. I add ice to Scout’s water and she’s picked up that is a “water” sound. We cannot believe how quickly she’s getting everything. Scout was smart and knows A LOT, but Gwenny seems to be thinking all of the time.
She’s napping now. Haha. She’s literally following a baby schedule of eating, drinking, sleeping, potty, play. Rinse, repeat. All day. Hahaha
I think the difference between sheepadoodle and full OES is that you get the full OES personality. I’ve researched this for a long while, and have wondered the difference (besides the hair!). It seems her instincts are so distinctly OES. You probably know better than I do, but she is so attentive and eager to learn. I met doodles and they are so playful, but the OES is muted just a bit . I’m not kidding, I live on a dead end road— neighbors are all driving down just to meet her. They’ve heard about her and even kids from Jarrett's school.
That’s just what I’ve read and heard from about a year or more of research deciding how much the hair was going to bother me or not. It seems those that invest the time — and I’m really lucky to have it at this point in my life— feel it’s worth it to get the full effect of the OES personality. We’ve seen her react to slight sounds— so we know her hearing is great. She’s tracking balls and movement and finding small things on the floor— so sight is good. She does the “weave” all over our yard and is kind of fearless around Scout. She let out a few barks— and unfortunately for us— Scout will definitely teach her this one. Maybe being around Scout is having an impact because she’s picking up on sitting and watching me and then going where I direct Scout to go... Her instincts seem rock solid and she’s very brave.

Gwenny went to vet today for shots. She was not a fan. She looks great, and is sleeping now. She weighed 15 pounds...
The vet couldn't believe how adorable, Every tech came in to see her. Haha.
