- Luis' and Alaska's 3rd Litter of Livestock Guardian Pups -

The Mama - "Alaska" Alaska is 1/2 Anatolian Shepherd, 1/2 Great Pyrenees. She is our trusted livestock/property guardian, and takes her job very seriously. She is affectionate and gentle with those she loves (including little children), and wary of anyone she doesn't know - which is what you want in a guardian of any sort! Alaska is so tender with young animals, and even raised an orphaned lamb once. Alaska weighs 90 lbs. |
The Sire - "Luis" Luis is our FCI registered Spanish Mastiff male. He was imported from Spain to the U.S. Luis is also an active livestock guardian here on our farm, and has the heart for the task. Luis is very calm, submissive, and lovable, and has a big teddy bear heart. He's quiet, unless he senses that there is something out there that needs to hear the bark of a huge dog who is serious about protecting his flock! Luis weighs 150 lbs. |
Alaska's and Luis' grown past pups...
...are turning out to have amazing, all-around versatile temperaments. Some are now livestock guardians like their parents, others are indoor family pets, and one is even a personal security dog. They have been described as being highly alert, jealous of their family, funny, tall, and are huge, but still growing/filling out! We're so pleased with how this combination of special breeds is turning out!

Rosa is out-going, friendly, and likes to give her paw to 'shake'. She's a happy, curious, goofy, inquisitive, smart girl who likes to stay by your side. Rosa is the most Spanish Mastiff-looking girl in the bunch.
"Inez"
Color: Wolf Gray
Inez makes good eye contact, is calm, SUPER observant, and independent. Her eyes are so expressive and endearing! Inez is very attentive and cautious about new things, and likes to explore.

Lopez is affectionate, alert, calm, playful at times, and very observant of his surroundings. His round, teddy-bear face is so adorable!
